FCP edit bay set ups for media sharing
I’m trying to figure out what will be an ideal set up to hook 6 edit bays that share media. Any ideas as to what’s working properly out there? I heard that Avid Unity can now be used in apple/fcp set ups just because apple’s current media server is less than ideal? Is anyone using that combination, unity and fcp?

If you have a big enough budget, then you can set up a fibre SAN using something like XSAN and fibre storage.
