FCP DV PAL to 35mm
Seeking the collective wisdom of the cow for taking a full length feature film shot on DV PAL
and going to 35mm Film. We will be grading on tape, so will up-res to HD first. Probably re-capture
to 10 Bit Uncompressed first? Are there any ways of avoiding the whole 4% slow down? -

Best advice you will get will be from the lab you intend to use for the print to film,they will almost certainly have an optimal workflow and preferred delivery format.If it is shown theatrically from 35 you will encounter the slowdown.
Having seen the results,I would not get overoptimistic about how dv looks on blow-up.
