FCP downconverting

March 9, 2011 at 3:26 pmI agree….In your settings you already have a bunch of presets. Go to the Settings Tab, Apple, Other Workflows, Advanced Format Conversions, Standard Definition.

I’ll ask: Why? You can mix HD and SD footage in a timeline; SD has a lower demand than HD…..
But again, understanding the why is valuable for advice.
