but when I click off “remove duplicate frames” it imports fine at 59.94. The problem is that after it’s imported and I want to get it to 23.98 using TOOLS > “DVCPRO HD frame rate converter” I get an error message saying: unable to conform source media.

    aaaarrgh!

is there another way I can convert these files from 59.94 to 23.98? Like in after effects maybe? will there be any recompression issues?

the original shooting format was 720p60 (some on P2 card some on FS-100) and 95% of the footage imported without a problem…it’s just about 10 clips or so that are giving me this issue. I’ve tried the demo version of HD Log and it’s repair wizard isn’t doing me any good…when I repair a video Mxf file, FCP doesn’t recognize it anymore

    I’m using FCP 6.0
    mac Book pro
    OSX 10.4.9

    Thanks all
    Ken
