I’m sure it’s being updated and will most likely re-appear as things get certified. There’s a LOT of hardware and software being released at NAB by many vendors and it may take some time for everything to get sorted out.

Also remember, Apple JUST announced the release date for Tiger AND OS 10.3.9 (an OS specified by FCP 5) is not out yet, so until all the vendors get the OS and FCP 5 it will take some time to get things certified. With all the secrecy around Apple’s products, it’s probable that many of the 3rd party manufacturers have not even received FCP 5 or Tiger yet for testing.

Well, I take that back. OS 10.3.9 just showed up in my Software Update panel. I’m installing it on a non-FCP system right now.

It came out either friday or Saturday. While I have only done limited testing, I haven’t seen any issues with FCP yet on the 17″ PB…

I’m OK on my G4, but my G3 is getting this nasty freeze when OS X boots during the “Login Window Starting” command. I spent hours this weekend trying to boot from CD, doing fsck -y ‘ing and other nasty testing, but it seems to ignore my every attempt at trying to boot. 🙁
