You need to be little more specific. Is the file you are talking about a session file or is your application corrupted?
Can you open the FCP application from the FCP icon in your applications folder? -

The application works just fine. There is no problem with other FCP files I have. When I try to open this particular file, the application crushes.

March 16, 2011 at 8:22 pmTry launching the FCP from the icon in the apps folder then going file>open>your project, and see if it open from within FCP.
If that doesn’t work try going to the autosave vault and see if you can open the latest version in there. -

March 16, 2011 at 8:28 pmI already tried that. I tried it on a separate computer, same application crush happens. I sent it to a friend. The file crushed his application.
Do you recommend FCS Maintenance Pack? Do you think that might fix my problem.
I appreciate your advise and assistance.

March 16, 2011 at 8:34 pmI HIGHLY recommend the Maintenance Pack. There is a PROJECT REPAIR app in there that does wonders.
