FCP Crossgrade question
checking to see recent turnaround times for fcp studio crossgrade upgrade? also, does apple provide a new serial# w/ the crossgrade or do we use the original serial#(in my case, dvdsp 4.0 serial#)? thanks!

Two cross grades ran eight days start to finish.

ugh! sorry, didn’t realize i posted this in the panny p2 forum. i thought i posted iit in the fcp forum. anyway, thanks for your responses! i only have the full version of dvdsp 2.0 so i was just wondering how the crossgrade upgrade process worked. so it seems i will use my original dvdsp 4 serial# once i install the crossgrade version? looking to be about a week turnaround time once i send out my disc and form? thanks again!

Yes, it takes about a week depending on where you live the country. You are sending your disks to Indiana.

It took three weeks for me. You get a new serial number.

I got mine in 2 weeks and it used the same serial number. But I thought that Apple ended the cross grade promotion in late December. I remember sending mine in 2 days before the offer expired. Maybe they extended it.

Sent mine in last year! (Dec. 20th.) and just got them today, (Jan 24th.)
Mine was the discs from FCP to the studio suite upgrade ($799.00 I think) and it uses the same serial number.
