fcp: created hdv in eay set up , but my imported footage is still dv pal
dear all,
I have a Sony FX1, and need to create a hdv project in fcp. i have entered the right settings in easy set up and my hdv indicator on the camera says that the imported footage is hdv , but when i look @ the imported footage dimensions in fcp it shows up as dv pal….. any suggestions?thanxs is advance!

It sounds as if your camera menu settings are set incorrectly to output SD, and so it is downconverting the HD signal. Get someone on the HDV Forum to help you with the menu settings.
