    ok im going insane! every time i try to render my sequence final cut crashes… i’ve cleared out my preferences, tried rendering it shot by shot, restarted, copied into a new sequence everything. could this be a corrupt clip or file?

    please any help would save me from my woes

    ive got 6.0.6 version of FCP

    mac OS X version 10,6
    processor: 2 x 2.66 Ghz Duel-core intel Xeon
    memory: 12GB 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM

    Have you tried rendering it shot for shot more than once…starting on a different clip. Could just just be coincidence the that first clip is corrupted.

    Also (and this may sound dumb – but you’d be surprised) – how much hard drive space do you have available and are your scratch disks set to the internal drive? I’ve found that having very little space / a very fragmented disc can cause unexpected crashes.
