    FCP crashes after applying filter

    Hi Everyone,

    FCP crashes out when using the magic bullet filter ‘MisFire Post Contrast’.

    I have trashed prefs, safe booted, repaired permissions and all the usual stuff.

    I am on the latest version and my software is all up to date.

    Any ideas??

    Hi,

    What material are you applying the filter to?
    Does it happen to other clips?
    Is it somthing extra with this clip? (fx plugg filters, reverse, speed changes etc)

    Media file could be corrupt or you are using a codec like “Photo Jpeg” or “DV”
    If so, try to redigitize/export to – uncompressed 10bit 4.2.2

    Nice if you give some more info in your first post
