    FCP crashes

    Hi,

    I have a large FCP 7 project (185mb project file).
    Recently I have travelled from new york to New Zealand with the hard drive and my macbook pro.

    Now when I launch the project it crashes after taking forever what it appears to be looking for files…
    But back in new york I never had a problem. So the only difference is, I’m now in a new country…

    We are in the middle of a big company launch and I need this resolved asap!!! Anyone with any suggestions please help!

    So same computer, same drives, nothing changed like an OS update or anything else installed?

    Can you see the drive and open your files in Finder and open them in quicktime? I wonder if your drive is unhappy. If you are having issues, you could try Disk Warrior to fix the drive.
