FCP Compressor
Help! My compressor is not compressing. The job is sitting there with ‘unknown time remaining’ and it’s not a large file. Anyone had this issue?

Yes. What kind of file are you compressing (excat settings, please) and do you have a VIrtual Cluster setup?

Jeremy, I’m compressing a 385 mb QuickTime movie with QT 6 MPEG4 800kbps. It was working the day before while I was running some quality tests. Can you explain a Virtual Cluster? I am very new to Compressor.

If you don’t know what it is, I am sure you haven’t set it up and don’t worry about it. It’s a bit of a rough road.
Have you tried reinstalling compressor?
