I have been editing a while, but I am am starting to tap into apple compressor. I have FCP studio 5. I am making a DVD in studio that will have 4 25 minute shows. These are corporate talks with mono mic sound, (I will break it into two tracks) a few fades and a lower 3rd.

What would be my best setting to run these out of FCP through compressor and have them as assets for DVD?

I want the best quality. I have done some math, but want to make sure my numbers are decent.

    What setting do you recommend?

    G5, 1.7, 4MB RAM, 30″cine, G4, 1.6 2MB RAM, Mbox, Neumann TLM-103, FCP HD 5. Pro Tools, Adobe Creative Suite, Reason 3.0, Macromedia Studio, ProAnimator, HVX200 with Firestore v4.0

Export from FCP to Quicktime using your ‘current sequence settings’. (You’ll see that in the export dialog box)

Choose a 60 or 90 minute preset in compressor.

Like anything Apple, really really simple.
