  FCP closing multiple times with 720p+sd video clips

  FCP has been closing on me when I am editing 720pfootage with sd footage on the same timeline. I closed the program and started a new timeline, which I thought was the solution to the problem. Then when I started to compress the footage (about 1 min, 30 sec) it began to close again. I am wondering if there is a bug in FCP 5?
