    Greetings,

    I’m on a Mac Pro 2 X 2.66 GHz, 5 GB 667 MHz DDR, Mac OS 10.4.9, running FCP 5.1.4, Motion 2.1.2, QT 7.1.6.

I’m having a problem when I try to send a clip from FCP to Motion. If I try to set in and out points and send a series of clips to Motion, it won’t allow me to select the “Send to Motion” option under “Send to”. So, I tried to just click-select the set of clips and corresponding audio I want to send, which it will accept. Problem is, the audio clip I want to send is a subclip of a narration track separate from the video tracks I’m also sending. It sends all the clips to Motion, but instead of the proper subclip being included in the Motion project, it looks like a subclip, but when I play the project in Motion, the narration track begins at the very beginning of the narration audio master clip, not the selected portion of the narration audio subclip I had made, edited into my sequence — and presumably sent to Motion.

Any idea what’s going on? I’d appreciate any help.

    John
