April 11, 2006 at 6:12 pmOkay, I submit. I forgot that FCP runs exactly like an 844x.
Good luck in your purchasing, Elliott. Sit down with a VAR and see what you like.

April 12, 2006 at 2:08 amThanks Jason, we are very happy with our 844/X and our 2 other Media 100’s. The doc we are doing is 1hr and 58 mins so we are just looking at some options. We really want to work on 844 but do not have the drive space on that machine. We have been looking at moving our 2.5 TB over from the M100 HD system to th 844 system. Just looking for options. I may give you a call. Thanks

April 12, 2006 at 2:20 amThanks guys, sorry for starting an argument. We will look at FCP and the AJA card. But will sit down with one first. A trip down to Florida is pretty easy.
But I do need to make a statement. 844/X was one or two versions away from perfection. Nothing is faster and I am still absolutly blown away that no one has picked it up. I paid full price and was one of the first owners of one. It has paid for its self several times over. And its just a shame, that its not still in production.
Blessings to all,
ELLIOTT

April 12, 2006 at 2:23 amOh, one more thing. My 844/X is not being replaced by anything. It is a dream.
