December 20, 2010 at 10:01 amIt seems its just a display/ grpahics setting – so this worked – i simply restored my original LCD calibration and its back working! then you just need to recalibrate.
I also had performed an OS X system restore, and didnt want to clean wipe.
This resoved it. Play with the display settings.

After reading this, i did the following
1. leaving FCP running – Launched Sys Prefs
2. Opened display options
3. selected the Colour tab
– This caused a recalibration
4. Back to FCP – Played a videoand thanks Creative Cow for excellent resource.
