    Dear all,

Does anyone know of a total idiot’s guide to editing Canon 5D mk.II footage on Final Cut Pro?

I need a real ABC for creating a project and sequence settings and outputting with PAL footage.

I’ve been doing a web search and got my brain fried – am more a writer / director than an editor (I know how to cut, but admit to being a dunce on the tech side) and am about to edit a wedding video that’s a mix of 5D (25fps) and Sony HVR-V1E footage.

I’m based in the UK, on a Mac Pro with Mac OS X 10.5.8 and Final Cut Pro 6.0.6

Any books or video tutorial suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Cheers,

    T.

You’re shooting HDV interlaced and 5D progressive. That’s never an ABC 😉
