    Hi,

i’m running FCP 7 on Mac Pro. PPMulator is running in standalone app. FCP audio is looped back in to Mac to meter via PPMulator (the Soundflower alternative was proving unstable). The problem is that every so often, the A/V sync becomes bad when monitoring FCP and it seems to be related to PPMulator running. Closing PPMulator or just changing a setting in its control panel will cause the sync to become good then.

    Any ideas?

    Just the pragmatic way…
Get any old computer and use that as a stand alone audio meter?

That would negate the whole convenience of metering within the same host. I would much rather get to the bottom of why it is not working properly. Thanks tho.
