    Hi

    Here is my situation…

I filmed an interview and, trying to give myself as many options in the edit, i used 2 separate mic inputs, one radio mic, one boom mic. Both going on to separate audio tracks. Now that I’m at the stage where i have edited it and have decided that i much prefer the sound coming from the radio mic. Is there any way (fast way) that i can delete the audio track that is the boom mic and replace it with the track above, that is the radio mic, thus making it a stereo pair.

This is my process at the moment….
I have to unlink the 2 tracks, delete the boom mic track, copy the radio mic track, paste it, and line it up with the original radio mic track, link the 2 tracks. (repeat for evert clip).

There must be a faster way to do this right?

    Many thanks

I wouldn’t bother duplicating the track. Just use Control-period to center the audio.

    All the best,

    Tom
