FCP audio problem.
I recently install a Matrox MXO2 I/O box and a new Sony Bravia HD monitor. I’ve been able to get video out but no audio. My timeline plays both but I can only see the video, the audio metters are bouncing but no audio.
Its the same in every monitor. The view, canvas, or the HD monitor that is playing out or playing back. I have tweaked the setting but no luck.
I have an optical cable connected too the output of the Mac Pro and I can hear everything else out of the box except FCP. It wasn’t a problem before the Matrox I/O install.
Anybody have this problem with FCP before or is this a Matrox problem?

Sorry Erik. I didn’t think to post the answer. I found the problem was in the matrox settings. I had to tell the box how I monitor audio. It was set to one of the matrox audio outputs. It took me a minute since I just started using it to find it. I kept changing setting in FCP but the problem was in the matrox menu.
