FCP Audio Filter to Remove Room Hiss?
Is there an FCP filter that can remove room hiss?
I have video where the audio level is low, but when I boost it, I get a significant amount of room hiss.
I have little audio experience, so any suggestions are appreciated, and don’t be afraid to dumb it down a shade or two!

Yes nothing useful in FCP for noise removal. Many here have said STP does a good job. Personally I use and recommend iZotope RX2 for a variety of denoising and declipping requirements. I do sound post as well as online grade so the better tools are justified, but iZotope is remarkably good for little cost.
And no I don’t work for the company but I am always happy to acknowledge good software tools.
