FCP and m2v files
I need to import some m2v files into FCP and when I try, it either crashes the app (4.5) or tells me there is something wrong with the files. Anyone?

I never taken MV2 files in but if I had to I would transcode in QT Pro to the codec you use and then import the transcoded video.

FCP 4.5 doens’t support MPEG2 editing at all
FCP 5.0 (just annaounced) MIGHT support .m2v editing. Time will tell.
