Fcp and livetype probs
1. The problem with my FCP5 is that my livetype movies dosent have alpha channel. Because of that i cant superimpose the livetype titles on any clip. What will be a solution?
2. Am using a sony HDV deck to capture HDV through fireware. But its not happening. it says no video is present?? how come??
Can anybody please help

Have you checked out the “Final Cut Basic” forum? You should probably be there. Live type will render w/ alpha – check your settings/prefs.
Deck control – check your settings, using firewire? -
Even better than rendering LiveType with alpha, just save the LT project and import into FCP. Only 1 render that way.
