    Hi all,

I’m trying to encode an flv using Compressor. The compression worked with one exception – the audio makes a “clicking” noise…and after about 5 seconds, it’s out of sync. I’ve not been able to figure out why this continually happens. I employed a successful workaround (export a qt movie and use flash encoder), but I’m just curious if anyone knows why this could be happening…

    I’m using Compressor 2.3.1 and FCP 5.1.4, running 10.5.2.

    Cheers,
    Jim

I am doing a project where everything is ending up as .flv files. I am exporting the files as 320×240 QT animation Millions+. Separate XML data for cuepoints. From there they go into the Flash Media encoder. Doing just a bit of cropping on the top and bottom to give them a “wider screen” look. 200kb/s deinterlaced in Flash gives me around 2MB/minute finished. Everything stays in sync and looks good considering the hit they are taking in compression.
