FCP and FCE Differences
Posted by Franklin Beaver on June 29, 2006 at 12:19 amI’ve looked everywhere for a comparison between the two but can’t find one. Is it just that FCE is limited to DV and HDV codecs?

“I’ve heard that you cannot batch capture with FCE, which for me, would be a huge minus. I’m sure there are other things that FCE can’t do that FCP can, but since I don’t have FCE the batch capture thing is something I can tell you about. Also, If the newest version of FCE doesn’t do multiclip editing I would go for FCP for just that reason alone.
