I have film footage that has been scanned at 1920×1080 and converted to prores HQ. I like the tools in AfterEffects to color correct. When finished doing that I bring the footage into FCP. I’m noticing that the footage appears darkerer in FCP as opposed to in QT player or AfterEffects. I think this probably has to do with the way Adobe and Apple displays media, but if that’s the case then the QT should look the same right? It isn’t a huge difference, but it is enough to prompt this post. Can anyone offer any advice on how to have Final Cut Pro and AfterEffects display the same media the same way?
    I have a 4 core Mac Pro with FCP 6 and CS4.

    Thanks in advance,
    Tom
