FCP and AE plugins
Posted by James Marshall on February 18, 2006 at 10:58 amIs FCP v5 comptible with After effects plugins?
I am after a video noise reducer, and seem to find more of this type of thing available with AE.

Walter is correct, but a pretty good noise reducer is in Joe’s Filters, and a very good one in Boris Continuum Complete, but the latter is very slow to render and quite expensive.
Have a wonderful day.

February 18, 2006 at 9:15 pmIf you look at the Apple page in the first column near the bottom, three bullet points before the Tools header it indicates yes–Apple – Final Cut Studio – Final Cut Pro 5 – Technical Specifications
After Effects Portal: Plug-in Summary has a FCP Compatible subheading but it is dated, circa 2003.
Toolfarm – Plug-in FAQ has a little blurb on it two thirds of the way down the page.
