FCP and Additional Monitor

In general Walter. How would using a decklink mulitbridge and a plasma with hdmi work out?
or would i be better doing a plasma with HD-sdi. if i can afford it. Im mostly a color user. so I would think a plasma or an lcd that was at least a 10 bit panel.
Will i get decent results from a decent midrange plasma with a decklink and hdmi 1.3?
