FCP AfterEffects Workflow question
I’m fairly sure this is a dumb question, but Googling didn’t garner anything other than “go buy Automatic Duck” which I can’t really do right now.
I want to export a sequence out of Final Cut Pro, edited voice over and clips so I can rearrange those clips inside AE. As it is I will probably just export the audio on its own and bring in each clip separately and trim to match.
Is there a better solution for this other than “go buy Automatic duck?”
It doesn’t appear that AE supports XML, or EDLs.

Nope. The Duck does exactly what you’re asking and more. Not only does is retain the clips and all the handles on them, it even moves over dissolves and some other effects.
