FCP adding length to clip and spreading keyframe proportionally
I’m did a project for a client which includes still images that are all keyframed for transitions. However, they now inform me that the project was too quick and they would like the images to remain on the screen twice as long. Is there a tool or option where I can expand the length of the clip and proportionally adjust the keyframe points? The simpliest way I see it just slowing the clip down to half speed. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I’m not in front of FCP and I’m not sure if this will work correctly so here goes:
I would first select the clip and copy it, drag it to the length you want, then hit option-v (or the paste attributes menu item under edit) . A dialog box will pop up, select the keyframes you need to copy (such as basic motion, opacity, etc.) and make sure the “scale attribute times” tickbox is checked at the very top of the dialog box, that will scale the attributes to the length of the clip.
