FCP add angle to multiclip problem
So, my problem is this: I have been trying to add angles to multiclips, but for some reason this won’t happen. Even though I can work around this issue by making a new multiclip combining the existing multiclip and the new angle, I would like to know why the drag-and-drop “add angle to multiclip” system doesn’t work for me. The footage I use are all the exact same format, so that isn’t the problem. As a test, i create a new project and do the exact same thing with the exact same files, and it works–so that makes me think it might be a settings issue in my main project. Any ideas as to why this happens?

Might be some sort of corruption in the project file… try creating a new project file, and select all from the original file’s browser and copy it. Paste it all in the new file and see if there’s improvement. There are no settings I know of that would change this particular behavior.
