  FCP 7.0.3. Shot Descriptions in Timeline

  I posted this thread in The Resolve forum. I thought I’d post it here as well.

  Seems Resolve doesn’t play nice with imported shot descriptions along with clip file names in the XML from FCP timeline sequence.

  Here’s a screen shot. Viewer on left is QT reference. Viewer on right is Resolve timeline from XML. You won’t see the shot description in the Resolve timeline. Just the video clip file name.

  I don’t have a screen shot from FCP with the clip description.

  Anyone know how to remove the description or modify the clip without the description in FCP so I can re-export the XML and see if it links properly?
