    FCP 7.0.3 keeps freezing

    I’m running FCP 7.0.3 with Mac OS X. Worked fine until I upgraded to OS X. Installed brand new MAC HD withg new install of OS X and reinstalled FCP 7.0.3. Running with AJA LHe. Keep getting the Pin WHeel of Death. Dump prefs and user data and restart. Constantly crashing. Nothing else on this dedicated Mac FCP Computer. In Tampa,FL. Can find only hardware experts. Unable to find software help. I suspect it’s a software conflict. Frustrated. Out of biz for the moment. Need help. Any ideas?

    Before upgrading an OS with legacy software, search forums like this for advice. Your problems maybe with the LHe and appropriate drivers.

    Also, did you do all of the software updates to FCP7 and the rest of the installed software?

    Yes. Updated AJA LHe drivers and update all FCP.
