    FCP 7.0.3 Keeps Freezing on Opening

    Hi CC community,

    I am suddenly unable to open Final Cut Pro 7.0.3 — my Mac goes into a spinning beach ball every time the software opens. I am completely stumped and have two big edits due to clients tomorrow and I am at a loss on how to proceed.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated! See below for info on my system:

    iMac
    Processor 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7
    Memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
    Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX 1024 MB
    Software OS X 10.8.5 (12F45)
