FCP 7 sync problems
I am having a syncing problem.
The audio is lagging behind the vision in FCP at a constant of about 5 frames. the same files do not do this when played back in the finder. When I export from FCP there are no sync problems. It is only during playback that the problem occurs.
The footage was shot on a cannon 5D at 25fps, transcoded to prores HQ. 16bit 48KHz sound.
I am working off a firewire 800 drive. The computer has plenty of ram and I have never encountered this problem using the exact same settings, codecs and hardware.
Any ideas

do you use a capture/playback card like black magic, kona?
