    Hey,

    What’s everyone’s opinion of FCP’s motion stabilization filter, SmoothCam? It seems to be of benefit at times (to prevent shakiness at titles, transitions), but other times it seems to blur the image and make the video look worse. I’m giving the Lock and Load plug-in a try. Do you know any other plug-ins worth trying for motion stabilization?

    I have found Smoothcam to be very hit and miss. It seemed to be better in FCP6 as long as you made a new file of just the bit you wanted to treat.

    Thanks. I think I read that SmoothCam is better on FCP X as well.
