FCP 7 Out of Memory Message
I am in the last week of editing a feature length documentary with a lot of footage. Almost 30 TB worth and the FCP 7 file is around 115mb, which I know is a bit big. My scratch disks are set to one of the drives that shows 4TB available but I am getting an “Out of Memory” message when I try to render or export.
I am not sure what is out of memory. Could it be the graphics card?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. We have some big deadlines coming up next week!my email is clearfilmsproductions@gmail.com

Do you have any stills in your project? Any non-FCP codec media, like h.264 or mp4?

in sequence settings/video processing/ set it to RGB or 8 bit YUV.

I do have clips that were converted from mp4’s to 422 in the sequence.

Same problem. Activity monitor shows memory pressure climbing. This was happening in conjunction with Image Capture Extension. I deleted the extension, now Final Cut is doing it alone. Beach ball won’t stop. Can’t do anything.
I’ve already had to delete the entire project and start over!!!
I’ve used Carbon Copy Cloner to make regular backups of the entire folder, so I hope I can salvage it. But the backup shows a Nov. 4 date, and I worked over the weekend.
Library’s name seems to have changed to Untitled. Can’t access Events. File seems corrupted.
What the heck is going on????
