FCP 7 osx 10.6.8 installer stops mid install
Just installed a brand new set of FCP7 disks on my iMac running lion. everything worked fine. Trying to install FCP7 on my macbook pro and it stops mid install on “insert audio content 2”. Even if I insert the next disk it runs then spits it out. I had no choice but to cancel the install . FCS_remover on what was there and start over. unfortunatly same thing happens.
I quit fcp on the iMac and made sure the internet connection was good.
Not seeing this on Google searchs so maybe they can name this problem after me?
Could this be a problem with the disk itself?
Unfortunately apple is not offering support on these disks as they are replacements…

UPDATE:
The cd has no “Install Audio Content 2” when it is inserted in either computer.
It is like this on all CD’s.
But the Application works. Could I take the content and transfer it onto the macbook from the iMac? Would this get attached somehow or would I have to do it manually?
Is this a problem with the disks or is it cause I am installing on 2 computers…?
At least it works for now, but would be good to at least have to music that come with Soundtrack.

What kind of FC .7 are you installing?
FCS3 comes in a bunch of DVDs because the additional contents (for ST, Motion and STP) is huge.
