  FCP 7 & Multiclip

  Has anyone had multiple issues with multiclips and FCP 7?

  I’ve had problems with multiclips in the viewer showing the same clip until you actually click on it. This means in the timeline, I use a match multiclip frame to bring it up in the viewer and both the A cam and B cam clips are showing A cam. If I click on what should be the B cam, it will change to be correct.

  Another problem I’ve experienced is that if I am trying to switch in the timeline between A cam and B cam and have an in and out set, the clip will be switched to B cam and extended to fill the in and out. If I clear the in and out, the clip will switch normally.

  When doing a match frame multiclip, it does not actually reveal the correct frame that I am on, but does bring to the viewer the right multiclip.

  I think that’s all so far. We are using XDCAM EX 720p23.98 for all the footage that is being multiclipped.

  The footage is stored on an Avid Unity, FCP 7.0.1, OS 10.5.8.

  Any ideas what might be going on? Are these simply bugs?
