I’m pulling my hair out trying to meet a deadline. I stupidly upgraded to FCP 7 in the middle of a project, and now I can’t find the Call Bruce tool. I found the reference to the tool in the rsrc file, but I can’t find the tool for the life of me!

What in the heck do you need THAT for to meet a deadline?

Oh, sure, I just upgraded to FCS3 and NOW I find out there’s a secret Yak? Hopefully they just hid him somewhere else rather than removing him.

Well all if his phrases are still in the rsrc file, so I’m guessing that they just hid him somewhere else again. I’ve not seen him from waiting for a couple of days – I don’t leave my system running at nights/weekends unless I’m here working or rendering, and if I’m rendering he probably disappears by the time that my screens wake up from moving the mouse (I have my screens blackout when left without use for more than 15 minutes because my aluminum 24″ ACDs developed bad burn-in after their third year of use).

Bruce hasn’t shown his head since FCP v5.1. He’s been hiding very will since.

But I, like Walter, fail to see how this will make you miss any sort of deadline. Bruce never was a “tool.”

Yeah and his reply didn’t really give us much more information on why Bruce will affect his deadline.

Alright already; lets assume that I had a dream about a friend who is under NDA for a documentary about the psychology of thinking different. And this particular tool happens to be the apex of the story.

OK then…whatever the case, Bruce has been missing since FCP 5.1.
