FCP 7, Mavericks 10.9.5, and BlackMagic Intensity Pro

September 18, 2014 at 6:31 pmI took the leap today with a duplicate boot drive and upgraded to Mavericks 10.9.5. I still have my original Lion 10.7.5 boot disk available to use. This was more of an experiment than anything else.
I am trying to get FCP 7.0.3 running with my BlackMagic Intensity Pro card with HDMI out. Upgraded my Desktop Video drivers to 9.9.2.
I’m getting this weird thing where, when I hit play, the audio is silent for a moment and then begins playing several seconds out of sync (late). I’m afraid of upgrading my Desktop Video drivers to a later version because I don’t see that FCP 7 is supported on those later drivers. Anyone else try this yet? Mavericks + FCP 7 + BlackMagic Decklink or Intensity card?
Thanks everyone,
