FCP 7, marker information (name and comment) doesn’t save
Hi guys,
I’m using FCP 7 and I’m having some issues with the markers. I’m applying them to the segment/clip within a sequence (not on the timeline). Most of the time I can type in the information I need, click OK, and then come back to the marker with the information (Name and comment) saved within the marker.
After a while it stops caring what I put in there, so when I go back to the marker the information just says Marker 1, Marker 2, or Marker 3 etc. with no comment. It’s as if I didn’t type anything.
This is ruining my flow completely. Now I always have to double check if it’s saving. If it isn’t, there’s no way of going back. It just keeps doing that throughout the sequence and I just continue reviewing my footage in my sequence without using the marker until I have to work on another sequence… where eventually it happens again. Yeah, not good.
What can I do? I’m on a fresh final cut install.
