FCP 7 is exporting multiple files for single sequence Export
Hello, I am editing a feature and half way through our post-production period, whenever I export the full length movie, It creates multiple files with “-av1”, “-av2”, “-av3” etc. added to the end of the file name before the file extension. I have been using FCP since version 1 and this has never happened to me before. There is a master file without the “-av…” at the end and this is the one that plays. And it turns out the master file needs all these other files in order to play.
I am using “File/Export/Quicktime Movie” with “Current Settings” “include Audio and Video”, “Markers None”, and “Make movie self contained” selected.
My system:
MacBook Pro, Duo 2.4GHz
4GB 667 MHZ DDR2 SDRAM
2tb Gdrive connected via esata through Tempo Sata Express Card/34Footage:
720p DVCproHDMatt

It is doing that because it must be writing to a drive that is FAT32 formatted so each 4 gig it spans the file.
