FCP 7 ignored cropped upper layer
This is an odd one, we have had two projects where we masked a section of screen by duplicating track 1 to track 2 then cropping a section and sliding it to cover.
On Export the mask doesn’t show up. repeating the exact same process on a different computer and re exporting works.
Any thoughts?
Old editors never die, we simply fade to black and I’m about 350 mV

Thanks I tried that and tried exporting the sequence on 3 other FCPs
