  • FCP 7 Having difficulty syncing audio

I recorded my video 24 fps and recorded my audio separately with my ZOOM Handy Recorder(sample rate 44,100; Bits per sample 16). At first when I sync up the video and the audio it seems ok but gradually the audio outruns the video. How can I fix this? I can use FCP 7 or Premiere. Thanks in advance!

NEXT TIME record your audio at 48kHz. That’s what’s needed for video. 44.1 is CD quality.

Try converting your 44.1 to 48k (compressor can do this) and then see if it syncs.
