    FCP 7 Export adds channel of noise.

    Dear Friends,

    I am editing H264 videos with AIFF Sound clips on a matching timeline, everything plays fine and sounds perfect in FCP 7, however on export a channel of fuzzy noise is added.

    I have tried changing the videos to Apple Pro res 422 to pick the best settings for FCP, even though it shouldn’t effect the sound but still doesn’t work.

    I am exporting to ‘current settings’ Quicktime.

    Every sound clip is central panned and nothing is on the timeline which could create this atmosphere.

    Can anyone explain this problem, or can decifer a solution?

    And don’t edit H.264 files in FCP again. FCP doesn’t deal with them well. Gotta convert to ProRes.
