I’ve recently upgraded to FCP 7.0.1. and a new issue has popped up.

I started having audio sync issues when sending something to Compressor with in and out points. Compressor will compress and recognize the in and out points of the timeline for the video portion only. With audio, Compressor ignores the in and out points and the compression starts from the beginning of the timeline causing the final movie clip to be out of sync.

I’ve been creating a new timeline and pasting in the portion I want compressed so that I do not have to mark in and out points. Has anyone figured out what might be causing this issue. Thanks!

I suggest not “sending to Compressor.” Instead, Export a QT using same settings, either ref or self-contained. Then, bring that file into Compressor.
