FCP 7 Audio
Posted by Denis Plesca on February 7, 2013 at 2:09 pmHey, I I added my audio to the timeline in FCP 7 and once it’s rendered and I play it back, I can hear like extra sound noise in the background, sort of beats or similar to when you get too close to a microphone, gets very unpleasant and ruins the sound of the audio, has anyone else experienced this and can help at all ?
Thanks
Denis

February 7, 2013 at 3:24 pmWhy are you rendering your audio? Audio shouldn’t need to be rendered unless it is an unsupported format

February 7, 2013 at 5:43 pmFCP doesn’t like MP3s. It craves AIFF 16-bit 48khz files. Or broadcast WAV files.

Use Quicktime Pro or Compressor to convert this to an AIFF or WAV file. FCP works well with either format.
BTW, why are you recording audio in mp3 format on a Zoom? mp3 is a heavily compressed format…not ideal for editing or sound work.

February 7, 2013 at 7:39 pmWhy are you hijacking threads? Post a new one! And on the Premiere forum, since this is a Premiere question.

If your question has no relation to what is being discussed…it’s a hijack! Hee, but no worries, just letting you know…
