What do you mean HDMI output – it depends on your monitoring system. We work with Aja kona LHI and 3G and the HDMI output is flawless. If you have got a HDMI output with your breakout box then it is fine.

I do have an hdmi on my breakout box. Right now I use a blackmagic setting to view on an external monitor. What setting should I use for the HDMI

    Hi Michael,

what breakout box do you use?
Settings depend on your FCP settings. If you use SD, you set your settings in SD with HDMI, if you use HD you use your timeline settings in HD, for example interlaced, progressive, etc. I would go for 8 bit, but this depends on your breakout box and your monitor.

    cheers

Same setting. Once you send it to the BMD box, all the outputs are active.
